Butner, Dennis, and Cowzilla (Matthew Razak) from the end of E3 last year. I think this video is underappreciated in the sense that, it’s short, it gives decent information from three different perspectives and it isn’t a piece of shit talking head something or other with fancy graphics.

Honestly, wouldn’t you watch something like this on a daily basis that summed up news and events in the video game industry? Nothing crazy, just people talking about games and not taking it so super seriously. Right?

Dude, YES. This made me lol multiple times. This is the kind of shit we need (“we” meaning everybody in the world)

I love the end of this video.

….I should move to LA.

(via tazar) Note from Ron:I could not agree more and I am floored when people don’t do this. Its like they just found out how the internet works.
[Update] My point here really is about Tumblr users. I like to have multiple pages open and I don’t see a point in a link taking me away from my dash only to come back an not be in the same place. I actually open 95+% of links in a new tab (Maxthon click+drag method) so this doesn’t bother me personally because I am going around it regardless.
Kayfabe: Whenever I notice a site that opens a link in a new window, I get the feeling that person REALLY wants me to stay on their site.
Ron: I get that, but I view it like I really do want to be on that website and why direct me away.

No no no! Don’t override the default behavior of my web browser. If I want to open a link in a new window, I’ll open it in a new window (or cmd-click it into a new tab, more likely). target=”_blank” breaks the back button, kills my focus as a reader, and is just plain annoying.
Never set a target unless you’ve got a really good reason to.

I agree with Chris. I usually cmd-click all links into a new tab. Don’t open a new window for me! I’m a big boy and I know how to use the internet.

How Many Gigabytes Is FFXIII’s Xbox 360 Install?
The Xbox 360 of multi-platform role-playing game Final Fantasy XIII is shipping on three discs. For those curious as to how much space installing the game on the Xbox 360, read on.
According to website Ve3tro.com, the totally optional install for all three discs is:

• Disc 1: 5.9GB• Disc 2: 5.8GB• Disc 3: 6.6GB

That’s a grand total of 18.3GB. In comparison the PS3 version of the game is 38GB.

Note from Ron: I remember over 2 years ago (pre-E3 announcement) saying that this game WOULD NOT be a PS3 exclusive and fanboys ripped me apart. Mocking me because it would take “way to many discs for the game to be playable on the 360.” I am sure nobody will look back (fanboys do not have the ability to look back in time) and realize that not only was I correct, but the install is actually greater for the PS3 due to audio not using compression. They will never pay attention to Blu Ray disc read speed of the BR drive on the PS3 either.
So for you fanboys… here is Final Fantasy 13 on a 360 with less of an install (size) than the PS3 version. Amen.

Yeah, what Ron said. But the PS3 version does look a bit better….

Good thing I have a phat ass hard drive in my PS3 then!
